  Finally someone has managed to do justice to Robert E. Howard's vision and put it up on the movie screen.  Surprisingly, it's not Conan but Solomon Kane.

Despicable Me 2.  The only thing despicable about this sequel is the laziness of the filmmakers.

White House Down.  Once you've said Channing Tatum's acting is the best thing in a movie, you've pretty much said all you need to know about a film.



World War Z.
  While most summer blockbusters have a 2 or 3 after their titles and are walking dead versions of a one-time original story or character, World War Z manages to breathe new life into the zombie genre.

Now You See Me.  The only thing the magicians make disappear in this movie is story logic.



After Earth.  It's not as bad as The Last Airbender or Devil, but it's definitely not as good as The Sixth Sense.  So where does that leave M. Night Shyamalan?  After After Earth, maybe without a career.
